Method
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft and lightly browned.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the cream, season with salt and black pepper, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley or thyme if desired.
